We wanted to have a swap to go along with this quarter’s challenge to finish your oldest UFO, but needed to do something that would work for everything since everyone is doing a different project. What does every project need? FURNITURE! So join in our furniture swap. Click here for all the details. But here’s a quick summary:
- You send 11 identical items, and will get 10 different items back. The 1 additional item will be used by QC (e.g., fundraising or prizes).
- You DO need to sign up for the swap by January 30th.
- You will receive a paypal invoice for $6.00. This will help offset the cost of the first class shipping for the swaps and also allow easy print labels for return shipping of the swaps.
- Your swaps must be received by Fern no later than March 20th (not in the mail by March 20th, but received by March 20th!)
What should you make? Here are lots of examples: dresser, bed, sofa, easy chair, coffee table, night stand, bar stools, table and chairs, desk, dressing table, workbench, bookcase, curio cabinet, coat rack, armoire, buffet/sideboard, hutch, etc. This is a great way to furnish your houses, old or new.
