The name of this swap is the Sweet Rose Swap. It can include furnishings for the Sweet Rose Cottage or any other “rose themed” furnishings, accessories, or landscaping items.
You can do inside furnishings or outside garden items. This is a great way to furnish your Rose cottage or any other pretty structure you have.
Do not feel that everything has to be pink, because some of us will not have that color for our houses. Just pretty, flowery, and sweet.

But here’s a quick summary:
- You send 11 identical items, and will get 10 different items back. The 1 additional item will be used by QC (e.g., for fundraising or prizes).
- You DO need to sign up for the swap by February 15th.
- You will receive a paypal invoice for $8.00 if you live in the US or $16.00 if you are outside the US. This will help offset the cost of the shipping for the swaps and also allow easy print labels for return shipping of the swaps. Make sure your paypal account has your correct shipping address.
- Your swaps must be received by Fern no later than March 15th (not in the mail by March 15th, but received by March 15th!)
What should you make?
Below is a collage of some rose cottage inspirations. You can make wood furniture with rose decals or graphics, upholstered furniture with a rose print fabric, lamps with rose patterned lampshades, rose topiaries or planters for the garden, rose wreaths for doors or walls, an outdoor bench with rose pattern pillows on it, etc. Just let your floral imagination flow!
